Shane and I began raising Nigerians in 2002 after raising several different breeds of standard dairy goats and being heavily involved in performance horses. As if we needed another hobby with all the competition we were doing with the horses! These little guys stole our hearts and having one goat turned into what we have today.
In addition to the goats and the couple horses we have left of the "herd" we had, we also enjoy sharing our lives with a couple puppy dogs, llamas, chickens, etc. We take pride in the quality of our goats, the well roundedness of our horses and the harmony which all of our animals live in.
Along side showing, milking, and raising our Nigis, we also enjoy using the horses for trail riding, moving cows, arena work, driving, and just about anything else we feel they are up to challenge.
